Come on in, guys.
Cayambe, get your first look at the new Galán and Sabaya tribes: Kami and Lee voted to the Summit, where they will soon compete to get back in the game.
While we're waiting for them to battle it out, we're going to set you up with your next challenge - so Cayambe, I'll take it back.
This round, we're going to be playing a game of Sacred Valley Jeopardy!
That's right - you'll be answering trivia questions in several different categories in order to rack up the most points. Each tribe will select 3 representatives t0 compete in this one, and we will schedule a time for the 9 players to face off against each other. We're going to give you the trivia categories ahead of time so that your other tribemates can help you study and you can be as prepared as possible to do your best.
During the live challenge, here's how it will work:
- We will get on a video call, and we'll alternate picking categories/questions between each of the tribes. When it's your turn to pick, your 3 tribemates will have 30 seconds to confer and select their Jeopardy square.
- Once the question is read, it's up for grabs. Any player can claim it for their tribe by sending an emoji in the challenge chat; however, once an emoji is sent, that tribe must have one person answer verbally within 10 seconds or the question will go to the other tribes. Rinse & repeat. If two tribes claim & fail to answer a question correctly, the remaining tribe can take up to 30 seconds to give their answer.
- There are a total of 25 questions on the Sacred Valley Jeopardy board, with point values ranging from 100 to 500. The tribe with the highest amount of points once the full board has been covered will win immunity and be safe from the next vote.
If you have any additional questions on how this will work, let us know. In order for us to effectively schedule this challenge, we ask that you discuss availability & pick your representatives as soon as possible. We understand that some people are in different time-zones and we want to make sure we give everyone enough time to study & strategize. We are aiming to schedule this challenge for around 10PM EST tomorrow, October 5th. If there's a problem finding three available members to compete by then, we'll work with you to figure it out.
Your categories for Sacred Valley Jeopardy are:
- Survivor Trivia
- ORG Wiki Trivia
- South American Geography
- Incan History
- Hosts' Choice
