Come on in, guys.
Let's get right to today's immunity challenge. This time it really is a fun one!
As of today, we officially have our first member of the jury. While Josh is no longer officially in the game, he still has an important role to play in what's going down for the rest of this season. The Jury, after all, is where unexpected things happen.
And no, I'm not talking about Final Tribal Council.
I'm talking about the cultural impact of Ponderosa bands.
In case you're somehow not familiar: there is a long and rich history of music in Ponderosa, beginning with The Dragonz, the iconic group from Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains who rocked the reality TV world with several hit singles. After a detailed profile in Entertainment Weekly a few months ago and the ensuing shower of praise from the general public, The Dragonz have emerged from their slumber and are ready to make a comeback!
Coach, JT, and Courtney have been hard at work on a brand new music video to share with their fans. It's almost time to release it - but, oh no, something isn't quite right. It looks like somebody has broken into their studio and messed with the tapes!
(Josh, that better not be you...)
For this challenge, it's up to each of you to take a look at their music video and figure out what's going on. You'll have 24 hours to study the footage below; your goal is to identify as many of the clips as possible, and submit a list of which music videos they are originally from. The person who correctly identifies the most will win immunity and be guaranteed a spot in the Final 9 of this game.
Here is the video you're trying to decode:
Rules:
- When submitting your answers, you must include both the name of the artist and the title of the song. If it's a song that features more than one artist, you must specify all involved parties. Example: "No Air - Jordin Sparks" would not be accepted as an answer; "No Air - Jordin Sparks feat. Chris Brown" would be correct.
- It's also important that you correctly format your answers specific to how the artists stylize them. If there's punctuation involved or special symbols, you must include it. Example: "Panic at the Disco - Camisado" is incorrect, "Panic! at the Disco - Camisado" is correct; "The One - Taylor Swift" is incorrect, "the 1 - Taylor Swift" is correct. When in doubt, double check the album track listing on Spotify.
- You are NOT allowed to collaborate on this challenge. Do not discuss your answers with anyone else.
- If there is a tie between two or more people in this challenge, we will be giving a tiebreaker question to determine the winner.
The Dragonz are counting on you, so don't let them down! Your lists are due at 9PM on Wednesday, October 21st.
Survivors ready? Go!
