Welcome to Tribal Council, Pachacuti.
We will now bring out the jury members.
Josh and Lee who voted out at last Tribal.
Before we vote, let us see what you all had to say.
CHRIS, last round, this group made the unanimous decision to take out Lee, someone who might have been a useful swing vote and who also made a big move to help one group survive. Can you talk more about the tribe’s reasoning for that, as well as why you personally made that choice?
" I definitely think that lee was in a powerful position to help either one of the two sides out. Unfortunately for Lee, I had several people come to me wanting to make that vote, and I was okay with it because, at the time, I thought it was best for my game. Echoing what Jules said, I do hope that anyone who has already been voted out, or gets voted out in the rounds to come, realizes that and doesn’t take it personally. I genuinely love everyone that has played and everyone that’s left so it wasn’t a decision I made lightly."
FOXX, you visited the Summit not once, but twice last round, using up the only offerings you have for the rest of the game. What was the experience there like? Was it worth burning those flowers?
"I have never once been so happy to spend six hours in solitude. Two flowers died for me to experience that. Truly worth it to experience to be suck on a mountain for the equivalent and work shift. How did I get so lucky. Winning immunity definitely makes it sting less though."
JULES, we now have two members of our jury, and you’re about to vote out a third; jury management is clearly coming into play. How do you feel about the relationships you’ve been making post-merge versus your strategic choices? Are you worried that one or both will come back to bite you?
"yeah, jury management is definitely a thing. ive tried to up my social game, but that also makes it harder to vote people out because you get to know them better. in the end, we have to vote someone out every couple of days, even if we like the person being targeted. it's definitely possible that the social/strategic choices ive made could come back to haunt me. for instance, im pretty sure lee isnt too happy with me at the moment. the best i can hope for is that the majority of people left in the game dont take things too personally."

KY, at different points today, there were proposed “compromises” for this immunity challenge in the tribe chat, including submitting flash-game scores instead or letting one person win on purpose with the idea that they’d give immunity to someone else based on a dance-off… or something. 🤷 What do you make of these suggestions and the attitude toward challenges that they set forth? Were people serious about the compromise or just posturing for the fun of it?
"I think Logan was a bit serious TBH and I was here for it. I considered hosting a 20 questions game and giving the winner my list but then I didn’t"
LOGAN, pretty much since the first joint Council, it's been pretty clear that there are two distinct sides on this tribe. Are we going to see these rigid lines remain for the rest of the game? At what point, if at all, do you see the game opening up more?
" People are trying to figure out who they can trust and who they can work with. The two sides make it easier to understand where you fit within the group. I think the line separating the two sides will blur as the game progresses. This is a competition after all. We all want to win."
NIKKI, it's been a couple rounds since we last saw or heard of an idol, and several people have also visited the Summit. Are suspicions abounding on who might have found either the camp idol or the Summit one? Do you think we'll see one played tonight?
"There are for sure suspicions around idols. One didn’t come out last round, but that was our first unanimous decision. It’s crazy that there are two idols that could be a possibility with the Summit. There’s only been a handful of people to go. Will one get played? Maybe?"
MICHELLE, at this point in the game, do you feel like you have a grasp on who everyone is and how they are playing strategically/socially, or are there certain people who are still an enigma to you?
" I don't think anyone is an enigma to me anymore. I think I know where everyone is placed....I mean you can never totally be certain, but I think I am."
SPENCER, it seems you have not been as present around camp recently, as opposed to some of the other castaways. Are you concerned that your inactivity could be used against you?
"Yeah there's definite concern. Unfortunately I have been a bit busy in my life outside the game and haven't been able to participate with the group as much, and that's good reason to get rid of me. Equally, it's good reason to drag me along as well. Whatever the other players do with it is up to them, but I'd be delusional if I didn't think it had some impact."
KURTIS, we're currently at Final 9, and as we know in Survivor, odd-numbered votes can be a pretty good time to make a move. As part of the presumed minority on this tribe, what's your pitch to the majority as to what one of them could do with this opportunity?
" I really haven't pitched anything to the majority. I respect that they want to play together and am taking it round by round hoping that I stick around. I'm open to anyone who wants to get something together but given how the board is set I don't think I'm in a position to make anything happen."

As everyone has spoken, it is time to vote. I'll go tally the votes.
If anyone has a Hidden Immunity Idol and wants to play it, now would be the time to do so.
*No one stands*
